Alexandra Sheren is a linguist, transpersonal psychologist, and body-oriented psychotherapist. She graduated from the Faculty of Philology at Saint Petersburg State University, Russia, earning her degree in theoretical linguistics with a thesis focused on neurolinguistics. For fifteen years she worked in the sphere of clinical research, heading the development development, until she chose to dedicate herself to the study of the deeper aspects of the human psyche and the somatic. The turning point came with a journey to Peru in 2016, where she began her acquaintance with transpersonal psychology and the shamanic traditions of Latin America. This path of learning continued in Northern California—in Santa Cruz and San Francisco—and in 2022 once again led her to the heart of the Amazon. The two years she spent in the jungle became a time of intense, mystical immersion into the culture and healing practices of the Indigenous peoples.
